New OTC Supp company - help me with the name
Going to make pharmaceutical grade topical 1-Test, better delivery systems for other prohormones and maybe a killer fatburner.
Vote to see if you like the names above or feel free to suggest another one.
Also feel free to suggest products that would be nice to see that no one makes.

Hey Cycleon, was that a typo (HardKore) or you just want to use the K instead of the C.... But I like that one!
-

I think powercore has the best ring to it.
-
01-17-2003, 01:13 PM #5
Out of those i like Powercore but i have always been partial to 3 letter names. Why not somthing like RST Nutrition or pick 3 letters that have relevance to the product. They sound more professional imo.

that hardkore nutrition logo is tight.

Powercore, but I don't like the logo. Just a dumb fact: Royal blue makes people want to know more. Red is an aggressive color, which could be good or bad in your case.

I like pro power nutrition, it has a nice maketable sound to it
both appealing to women and men. Sometime people get intimidated by the way something is spelled or even just the wording can turn there heads in another direction. I assume it is a psychological thing?abstrack@protonmail.com

I agree, you would have to do something about the colours.
But personally I like "Pro Power Nutrition"

The other eyes look scary. A solid blue eye might look good too.

OH GOD NO! You ruined the whole atmosphere with that red crap (sorry, no offense) but damn ugly bro. The black/purple mixture is VERY sweet. Those two colours to WELL with each other.

The blue eye looks good, but I like the black hair better than the red.
-

I think it looks better with black hair AND the black eye. Makes it seem ... more agressive or something
-

The PowerCore name has a nice ring to it.
-
01-19-2003, 02:47 PM #31
I like PowerCore
Like Pic number 2, Make his bicep a bit bigger, so he doesnt look so lean and I think you've got it!!!
I'd at least look at it for the logo.
Oh, the lighting bolt in his hand, with the blue "stroke" or "outline", make it a tad bit more noticeable.

theres alot of variables you have to look at when you decide to market and package your product..when most companies have an idea for a logo they will get a sample group toghether and test about 20-30 different logo's....hope this info helps...Madmax
1. who is your target market..(the demographics of the specific audience you want to reach...age, income, location, race, ect...)
2. what's your comparitve advantage...(what makes your product better than the other products out there...example...better delivery service..better taste...cutting edge technology)
3. color scheme you use...(different colors are going to display different attributes of your product such as price, quality, ect...)
most Marketing psychologists advise that a lasting color impression is made within ninety seconds and accounts for 60 percent of the acceptance or rejection of an object, place, individual, or circumstance.
Your response to color is inherited, and it is learned. Response depends on several factors including your sex, age, intelligence, and education. Also such factors as temperature, climate, socioeconomic background, and regional attitudes will affect color response."
Favorite Colors of American Consumers
Blue
Red
Green
White
Pink
Purple
Orange
Yellow
colors can be categorized as either "classifiers" or "declassifiers" for marketing purposes.
"Classifying colors" narrow the appeal of a particular product because the color(s) have a subliminal meaning to people. "Classifying colors" can elevate the status of a particular product or narrow the market for a product.
"Declassifying colors" broaden the scope of a particular product because of the broad appeal of the colors. They can also "cheapen" a product.
"Classifier Colors"
Forest Green - appeals to the wealthiest 3 percent of Americans; may cause rejection in others; generally signifies "the best" and raises the price of goods
Burgundy - appeals to the wealthiest 3 percent of Americans; may cause rejection in others; raises the price of goods
Bluish Reds - appeals to women
Yellowish Reds - appeals to men
Blue - tends to make people eat less
"Declassifier Colors"
Orange - draws attention, is informal, and indicates that a particular product is suitable for everyone. Orange can be used to make an expensive product appear less expensive.
Yellow - is the color that draws attention the fastest, stops traffic, and can sell a house. If you are planning to sell your house in the near future, plant yellow flowers in front of it. Yellow also indicates cheapness and a temporary quality. Splashes of yellow are cheery, but a mass of yellow can produce anxiety and cause tempers to flare.
Red - makes people unaware of how much time is passing and is widely chosen by casinos and bars for that reason. Red makes food more appealing and inspires people to eat more.
Gray - tends to move people or products up the socioeconomic ladder
Food Colors
People prefer brown and white for food-related colors. People dislike blue and black when it is related to food items.
White - an excellent color for restaurant decor and some food items; reminds people of ice cream, milk, yogurt, cleanliness, etc.
Brown - charbroiled steak, chocolate cake, nuts, whole grain bread, etc. are associated with brown. Brown is an excellent color to use in packaging food products.
Blue - probably the worst possible color to use when the product is food-related. There are very few natural, blue foods. If you are trying to lose weight, use blue plates. Blue acts as a natural appetite suppressant. "All you can eat" restaurants should use blue plates to reduce their operating expenses.
Black - not a good color in connection with food items. Black plates do not "wet the appetite".
Red - is the greatest appetite enhancer of them all. If you are selling food by the plate, use red. Red will encourage people to eat more and linger longer.
Green - is very appealing to people. Green in combination with other colors appeals to everyone's appetite.
Pink - is also an appetite enhancer. Pink makes people imagine gooey pink frosting, cookies and cake. Pink for sweets is an excellent choice. If you are on a diet, don't choose pink

Well I guess MadMax has us beat with the suggestions
I still say #3 was the best one. (The black and purple one).
All I can say, I know that anyone of my friends including myself would check out a product with that logo

i like pro power but with the hardkore logo! a basic color scheme always seems to look better too! if it is too busy you lose concentration on the product and focus more on the artwork!

Is that purple or blue? It looks purple to me. I need you to do another 50 logos with different shades of blue please.
