If your doing self injections, I would recommend the quads.

And no, it's not normal for a hard red bump to appear at the injection site.

what type of gear are you using ? could depend on if it's got a high BA conntent or not as far as the red mark is concerned. does it feel like a hard lump, and the area is warmer than your other cheek ?

are you cleaning the area with alcohol before you stick the needle in ?? are you using the same needle that you used to draw up the gear ?? the rubber stopper tends to dull the needle a little bit, so maybe it was just breaking the skin that caused a little infection / pain.

what size needle are you using ?

as far as what's his face saying it's more safe, i don't know about that. the ass has less nerves than anywhere else on your body, so it's not gonna hurt as much. other places (quads, delts) are just easier to reach b/c you're not having to twist around to stick yourself.

What? Where in the blue hell are you getting your information??!! There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with injecting test into the delts. I think you need to do much more research!

Sounds like your doing everything right. Make sure you massage the spot thoroughly after injecting as oils tend to stay in a small ball because they are so thick. The small red bump could be something as simple as a pimple or ingrown hair. I wouldn't worry just yet, but do keep and eye on it.

It could also just be a deep bruise caused by moving the needle while injecting. As I said, don't blow it off, but don't worry just yet. If it gets worse then you should take action. Keep us informed.

There's nothing wrong with injecting into the delts, thighs or glutes. But as stated there are fewer nerves and vessles in your ass so it's more advisable to inject there, expecially if you are a newbie. Also it matters what length needles the guy has got as well as what gear.

Don't give out recommendations without having all the information - you could cause somebody harm.

A red bump like that sure sounds like infection. If it doesn't begin to go within in a few days or starts weeping puss I'd go to the docs and have it checked. It might be worth cleaning each day with a liquid antiseptic.

I had the same problem with a hard lump in my glute right after injecting test. This was my 3rd cycle so I know what I'm doing. But after this happened I did some research and was told that you develop a hard lump from not penetrating the muscle and shooting the juice between the muscle and the skin causing the hard lump. Might not be your problem but it was mine

Something I noticed in your post though... you said you cleaned the rubber stopper and used a new needle...

I'm hoping this does NOT mean you're using the same syringe with just a new needle - because this is a BAD idea for risk of infection.

Hopefully I just read that wrong and you're using a new syringe/needle combo each time.

    sus injection

I've also gotten the sore hard bump, (looks like a charlie horse) i think it is from moving the needle around, I had pulled it out alittle and then pushed it back in before injection. It goes away, you really need to massage the area to spread it out. try warming up the test too before injection.
