protein and steroids
hey guys whats your view on taking steroids and protein shakes together does any1 do this sorry if this sounds stupid would a good clean diet with plenty of protein from food be enough or should i still be taking protein shakes as a small meal to make up for one of my 6-7 meals a day

If you drink protein shakes, make sure you mix with water and not milk because
Protein shakes + Milk + Steroids Equals certain death.......

To sum it up, aas increases your bodys ability to use more protein than ever. Muscle doesnt grow on dreams. Drink it like its mommas milk. Its good for you.
Why limit your potential to save a buck. That is why you ask isnt it?

This is all you need, assuming the total amount of protein is = to 1.5g-2g per lb. of body weight. This goes for on or off cycle.
However, a (whey) shake is still good right after your workout because it absorbs so quickly. You never want to substitute a meal with a shake if you don't have to.

Whey protein throughout the day in between meals and within 30 min following your workout.
Casein protein before bed to feed the muscles at night during 6-8 hours of fasting.
Protein is very important in ALL forms. You want to put on size? Eat quality protein (steaks, chicken, fish) as well as intake protein supplements.
Also, in your free time do some research brent. You should not be asking this question if you are already cycling. But you did. So I hope this helps.

depending on what you are on? your body can take in alot more protein than the avg person! I dont know the amount is but I would guess it would be around double and in some people perhaps triple the amount.+
I know alot of guys who drink protein shakes with ever meal.

No man...you can't take protein shakes with your juiceroids. You'll get too massive. It's actually a separate charge aside from being caught with steroidjuice. If they find you with protein shakes as well, you're double ****ed.

Dude, eat that shit hard out. Your muscles will be able to use way more of it, so give them what they want. Whole food is the sweetness, but for a few more bucks a day, why not give the cells what they want?

You can save money (as I do) by buying protein without all the fancy shit.
I use WPC and BCAA as my extra, on top of whole foods. The BCAA costs, but it lasts a while, and you can get bloody good deals on it if you shop online. Sweet as.Last edited by Devil's_Advocate; 06-15-2010 at 01:02 AM.

like said above try and get your protein from whole food sources but if not supplement with bars and shakes, but the key word is supplement..... dont rely on this, i would say 20 percent maximum protein should come from shakes and bars, the other 80 percent whole food, good luck any way man your diet is key to gains, and its hard to get it right takes a lot of effort but its worth it in the long run.
