Depends on the person. Mine start going away around 13-14%, but Ive seen some guys who carry a lot of excess and still have the lines. General rule of thumb is around 12% Im told.
Assuming you work them of course. If you do no ab work, you could see little to nothing even @ 9%. Ive seen this on some little sissy kids with rediculous metabolisms but shitty workouts. If you look at my profile pic, its blurry, but it was around 15% and still showed last summer.
OK, so how can i accuratly and conveniently measure my BF? maybe some kind of electronic monitor/meter ? ive got some scales,first i Input my
height:5'10
this gives a readout of
weight 209 pounds
F 29.6
Muscle 35.7%
Water 48.2%
and B 30.1%
TBH cant remember what F and B stand for , i think F is BMI.
Any help ?

For most guys its below 10% that you start seeing abs. 15% and I'd have a hog-belly.

depends what were meaning by showing, if were meaning just visible id say 11 flexed or unflexed.

depends on the size of your abs. its like that with any muscle, really. look at the skinny people that are like 11% BF. do you see their biceps? No cuz they dont have any, while someone muscular at 16-17% will have arm definition....
