LH vs FSH

Can someone tell me the role FSH plays?? (follicle stimulating hormone)
i know the LH (lutenizing hormone) helps send out signals to the testes

I think i am defficent in FSH but not LH.
I have found very little information on each ones individual role.

Any info would help.Thanx

I'm no expert, but from what I know, FSH sends the signal back to the pituitary gland. And it forms an axis from the testes to the pituitary.

Steve,

I'm going to briefly comment on this and keep it short since I don't want to start another long ass thread. If you suspect you are deficient, than you need to have a complete workup done by a Doctor. You are going about this the wrong way and trying to diagnose and subsequently treat yourself by what others are telling you. You could cause more problems for yourself if you are not careful. I would expalin what the differences are, but you would want to argue with me because a "Guy at the Gym" told you something different and I am out of patience for the day.

I have already had a complete work up done and evrything is normal except, i have low fsh(proven by a GNRH test) which lead to slightly low test.
THe remedy for this is obvously testoterone supplementation ,but only if i want it, as it does not effect my day to day life much.My orginal question was what role the FSH plays as i cant find a definitive answer to that.
