A shame you´re in the Midwest.
My Ex lives in LA.
If you started dating her now, by 4 weeks, your blood pressure and adrenaline would be through the roof. Rage beyond anything you´ve ever felt.
You would be so pissed off, you would break both his arms before he could tap put, then go to work on him... :-)

you could try using skill instead. I mean really you WANT out of conntrol rage? That's not good for fighting or anyhting else. You wanna fight like Wandy did in Japan then do what he did, and do a couple lines before the match. Fearless and aggressive, and more or less stupid

Make a DVD with Dana White, Brock Lesnar and Tito Ortiz talking about how great they are and put it on a closed loop so it just plays over and over.

it sounds like you have a sports psychology problem......
you need to find a way to access an emotion on demand for the purposes of performance (correct?)
this is nothing new, athletes and actors have been doing this for ages.

Uriah Fabor has no rage and he is the best in his class.. same with that french canadian guy.. forgot his name.. rage will cause you to lose a fight, not win it.. stay calm and destroy your opponent.. rage makes you throw wild punches and do stupid shit.. intelligence and training alone will give you victory

I think maybe what OP is referring to is what I call the "Eye of the Tiger". You need a certain amount of that when you work out, but it is a controlled rage.
For me, it is a form of focus, a way of finding yourself in the zone.
Mate, everyone needs to find their own way. For me, I turn my focus inward, and quite often, don't even notice what Im looking at. Last couple of reps can be quite noisy too.
