yes it is definately illegal..if its illegal to have, its definately illegal to smuggle through states...if i were going to do it though i would not put it on the carry on....i would put it in my checked luggage

Just from experiance here bros, I went to 2 Airports and they scan your carry on and CHECKED Luggage. if they see anything out of the ordinary, they will not hesitate to search your shit. I had to quit my fina cycle cuz of an emergency trip outta town. Its not worth the risk IMO.

I just saw a show about airport security beefing up due to the recent events. They do scan every single checked baggage more closely but they are looking for explosives or anything that might resemble. There are a lot of people on medicine, insulin , hormones replacement etc who have pins in their luggage.
I wouldn't worry too much.

def put it in your checked, only because of the high rate that they check peoples carry ons. besides the fact that they are very attentive when scanning your carry-ons, atleast compared to your checked luggage, they randomly check peoples shit all the time, thats just not good news. there are plenty of sneaky ways to hide that shit in your luggage if you just think about it

Put it in your checked luggage....but rap it in that anti-x-ray shit you put your film in. I think that blocks them from seeing inside it. Never tried it my self but hear it works.

I just flew back to LA from the east coast with some stuff. I had about 100 syringes in the suitcase that I checked and a 10ml bottle of upjohn cyp in my carry on. After I checked my suitcase the security guards at the airport opened the bag to inspect the contents (I forgot to leave it unlocked so they busted the locks) They taped it back together with electrical tape and left me a note stating that they examined my suitcase and any damage done to my personal property was too bad.
The syringes made it through with no problem. My carry on was X-rayed with the cyp in the bag, no questions were asked I got home with everything in tack.
