Whats the blood test called you all get?

Whats the blood test called you all get that tests liver, kidney and test levels? Also, whats it run if you do not have insurance?

I just request whatever levels I want tested, I believe you can just ask for a full blood panel test and that would cover it all, but just tell your doctor you want your liver, kidney, testosterone, etc. levels tested. Not sure about the cost though if you don't have insurance, here in Canada its free.

cbc (all around test good to have before starting), shows creatinine levels to show kidney stress, sgot shows liver stress, shbg shows free and total test levels, just ask your doc for the specific tests by name, thyroid and cholesterol would also be good to get checked

here are the exact tests,,
for liver valves:
AST &ALT levels, glucose, calcium etc. Just tell ur doc u want the full blood work done. Make sure to include all types of cholesterol;
-cholesterol serum,
-triglyceride serum
-hdl cholesterol
-calculated ldl
-and a make up of total/hdl choleterol ratio
these r extremely important to determine cardiac heart condition and blood flow, in simpler terms, ur ability to pump good quality blood to those big gunz!!!!!!! (i had all this done recently) good luck, hope that helped. BIG-G

u can always try a local clinic but they probably wont do all of those tests. Ur gonna have to pay out of pocket for this at worst but its worth it to know bro. BIG-G

ALT & AST will show up as SGOT and SCPT on the actual profile
Alkaline Phosphate-measure biliary tree
T. Bilirubin-measures heme conjugation
Albium Serum-measure liver protein production
BUN-Blood Urea Nitrogen(if you getting enough fluids basically)

The test will also include things such as Potassium, Chloride, Sodium, Glucose, and of course your Test levels


These tests are pretty individualized so it's always best to get one taken before hand to see what you norm os on all your levels.
