My husband took injectable steroids (some ready jects and some stuff you can make yourself) for 3 mos. He's been off of them for about 4 mos. He never took anything afterwards to help his body get back to normal. He can't stay hard during sex and has no sexual desire. What can he do to get his natural testosterone back to normal? Please HELP!!
I would recommend at this point he goes to a doctor. However if he refuses to do that then there are a few options. First he should get some clomid and begin taking it at 100mg a day. He can also consider proviron or dbol at 10mg a day in the morning. That should help restore his sex drive quickly. He can also look into viagara and cialis.
If i were him i would go to the doctor but if he wants to do it himself then he should try the clomid for about 4 weeks (100 mg for ten days then 50 mg for another twenty days) and also he should add in arimidex/liquidex at 1 mg everyday (these two help recover the LH side and the FSH side, respectively). I would not use HCG because that could damage him even more in the long run and i WOULD NOT use the d-bol or the proviron as they will still shut you down and add to the problem even more in the long run (when he stops).
This should be a lesson for everybody to make sure the take the right ancillaries post cycle.
There's a lot of (anecdotal) evidence that taking a small dose of d-bol or proviron in the morning causes your body to increase it's natural test output during the rest of the day.Quote:

I would recommend HCG and clomid... this has been known to rectify situations such as your husband's.
