    Elevated blood sugar

Just had some BW done and it shows I have elevated blood sugar. Not to bad, but my GP has called for a second visit to discuss this matter further.

I had planned to start a cycle Jan 1/13, and last cycle/pct ended months ago. Should I hold off my cycle? Could my last cycle of test c have effected my BW? Do steroids even affect blood sugar? What a piss off. I'm to young for this crap and I don't want it to change my training. Obviously health comes first tho so any feedback will be appreciated.

My first GUESS would be to consider your diet and what did you eat prior to testing!

Many orals tend to lower blood sugar. I already suffer from hypoglycemia (well, anyone who pisses me off suffers), and Dbol definitely caused my glucose levels to drop faster.
I've never heard of AAS raising blood sugar or causing diabetes.

What had you eaten before the fast. Candy, cake lots of bread and pasta can spike blood sugar. There is an alternate test that determines blood sugar over a 3 month period that is more accurate.

Correct, im diabetic and if anything i require less insulin while on cycle

How elevated was your sugar. Was it just at the time or was it an A1c test?
If people can't tell your on steroids then your doing them wrong

Im not sure of the levels but thE doctors office called and said they were slightly elevated and scheduled an ap for the 18th. Doesn't seem urgent to me. It was a first test specifically due to family history and symptoms of diabetes present. I don't know what a1c is but on the req. they checked every box like cholesterol and creatine and test t3 t4 etc... And the night before I doubt I ate to crazy. I think I had a burger and fries the evening before. Maybe that did it. Hopefully it's just a poor reading but i was told to fast for 6-8 hours and I went 12 or more

an A1c test basically measures your blood glucose level over 3 months. So you see an average. So if you did just eat a shitty meal before your test it would effect the glucose level at the time of the test but no the A1c.

Ok well I'll find out the next steps. You think I'm still safe to run the test e and tbol cycle I have planned? Or will it be a problem for future tests?

I have this issue and take Metformin HCL @ 500mg daily. But I monitor and come off it once in a while.

I don't think I'm actually at risk of passing out or anything, but my BGL tends to drop into the 50s if I go more than 4-5 hours without eating. When this happens, I just get real agitated (from the adrenaline release that hypoglycemia triggers) and irritable/enraged.
