Hey xxxl83, It says add a couple of drops per hour after the solution has turned white, but for how many hours?

til it's full of crystals. I can't give you an exact time because it depends on how much water you add and how fast you add it.
It'll take a couple of hours like I said just be patient and don't rush it. If you rush it you may only end up with 1 gram which means you're wasting half your fina.

Well I just did the filtering and rinsing, this is what I was left with. It still needs to dry out; but it looks like a pretty good amount. I am going to filter the rinse water and filtrate and see if I can squeeze out a little more.

On a related thread, I wonder if this "purified" version of tren would be better for the DMSO, eating and nasal spray folks (not for me! pinz work!) This may have interesting potential?

Everything worked out pretty well I think, it's kind of a fun process. I still need to find a scale that weighs .1 of a gram, anyone have any ideas. Here is a pick though.

Well I found a scale and the result was 3.5 grams, about a 88% conversion.

No it's not any harder, it just takes a lot longer. I don’t think I will convert fina any other way from now on. If you really took your time during the crystallization process I can see how you could get 95%-100% conversion easily; it would just take a few days.

Here is a pick off the final product; I don't think I will bother baking, the whatman is probably enough. It's so clear, makes me want to start my cycle early.

is there any specific purpose to doing the conversion this way? eg does it get rid of the estrogen? is it more pure than the watman filter can get it?

The only advanage is that you know exactly what your fina is dosed at, plus I feel it makes for a cleaner product.

Did you get any extra out of the rinse water? I was thinking about taking the cellulose and trying the process over to see if I can get any more crystalization.

I dont care for that method, but Im not a fan of using methanol for things I put in my body.

I'm in the process right now using notacows method If you would have posted this before I would have tried it your way. I may just convert another 4g's just to try it out.

the more you use, the more methanol would be required to dissolve it all. doing it the above way, probally only a little more water would be needed.

I love the Notacow version!! I ues it all the time and get 100% conversion. It takes a long,long,long time. In the end it's worth it. It's less painfull, better dosed ,and clearer.
