Swapping pin tips
I ran a search on changing needles and couldnt find what i've been thinking about, so heres my post.
Is is possible to safely reuse the same pin tip to withdraw juice?
Of course I would be changing the pin tip before injection.
See I would like to use a 5/8 to withdraw each time, then switch to whatever size i need to inject.
Is it sanitary to reuse this same 5/8 tip each time i withdraw??
Or will bacteria form and cause me trouble??
Well let me know what you guys think.

I use the same tip to withdraw from different vials, but I wouldn't use it again the day after. It's better to be safe than sorry and needles aren't that expensive anyways.

I would normally bin it after drawing but if you were to keep it you would need to keep it in something sterile with a solution but there is always the risk that if you used something alcohol there will be traces of it when you inject even if you change the tip.Leads to a painful inj!

I can tell you that I re-use the same 18g to draw for a while..Havent had any problems...I put it back in the plastic case, ad then put it back in the sealed package it comes in.

Bah, a box of 100 18ga terumo pinz costs like $10 from a med supply store. At that price why take a chance?

Bro....my boy just had surgery for an abcess that was caused by doing what you just described. Throw the used pin away.....You can pre-fill a week or two worth of pinz all at once and then throw it away if you are concerned about using alot of pinz for drawing up the gear.
