    T3 Cytomel and metabolism

Hi everyone so I know t3 is supposed to raise your metabolism by affecting the thyroid but how do I know if my metabolism is getting faster? I'm on my second day of 25mgc and on day 4 will increase to 50mgc. I do take my temperature in the mornings while in bed to see if it increases. Is that the only way to tell if my metabolism is increasing or which other ways are there.

Body temperature dictates metabolism. If you take your body temperature upon waking, if you wake around the same time each day, that is a good reading to look at. Compare your body temperature prior to starting t3, and then after.

Yes I did that and do it currently still the same temperature. But are there other ways to tell if it is speeding up?

Get blood work if you want to know for sure.

austinite is correct. that is the most definite way of telling.
However, at 25mcg/day, you will not see an increase in metabolism as the human body produces around 25-30mcg/day and you are merely replacing what your body was producing before you started taking it. Once you bump up to 50mcg, you should see a difference in body temperature and especially at 75-100mcg, assuming that your t3 is real.

Okay I don't really want to get blood work I just was wondering any normal symptoms that I would start to feel. And is it okay to bump up to 50mgc on day 3 instead of 4

Unless you're overeating, you'll know it's working in about a couple weeks. There is nothing to look for. Temperature and weight loss. That's it.

Taking T3 shuts down your natural production? Once you stop, how long before natural production kicks in again?
