No Temperature Increase on T3 Cytomel

Hi guys I have been on T3 cytomel for 2.5 weeks and am currently on 100mcg per day dose I tapered up slowly and have been on 100mcg for the past 3 days and so far I have not noticed any body temperature increase in the mornings like you are supposed to. I wake up every morning while still in bed and take an oral temperature measurement and it is about the same the whole time, same as it was before I started cytomel. And some days it is even lower than the previous day. Can you guys help me out on this.

I wasn't aware that you needed to have an elevated body temp to burn fat.

Are you noticing any changes in your appearance? T3 will deplete your muscles of glycogen if you don't eat a bunch of carbs to compensate.

I thought the t3 increases metabolism which will increase body temp. I have lost a good amount of fat in this amount of time and also my muscles appear flatter probably because of the glycogen depletion caused by the cytomel I keep carbs medium to low. But also when I exercise and do cardio I sweat alot more which is because of the t3 I think but why isn't my body temp increased in the mornings

    Because oral temps are unreliable.

Stick a thermometer up ur bum. ~_~

On a serious note tho. That's about the most accurate unless u got a doctors ear thingy. I'd go with looks. N not just looking in a mirror. Pictures. Same distance shot. Same place. Same light. Front back n side. No tensing. All natural. Be more accurate that way. As long as ur source reliable. Just go with pics

I use Omron ear temp gauge. It always shows an increase while on T3.

Okay so the oral thermometer isn't fully accurate and doesn't really matter then. I have been taking pics and seen slight changes which are good and all other factors show that its been working. Thanks alot everyone

Truth is, you never really know if your t3 is legit, unless you get it direct from the pharmacy. Sounds to me like yours is doing what it's supposed to.

Blood work would show if its legit or not.

T3 is one of the cheapest as far as raw material to make. So it said that its not faked very much. I have had a similar experience as you on T3. Cant really tell much is happening, even with Rx by a Dr. One thing though that I do notice is how my muscles will look flat from the glycogen depletion caused by T3. Messes with my mind too much, so I really don't find any benefit from using it.

Okay thanks guys. The glycogen depletion does mess with my mind a little bit also making me think I'm losing muscle mass but then I see the fat loss and the strength loss hasn't been much at all which is probably because of the caloric deficit.

Honestly I never "feel" anything. Temperature goes up but there are no signs to really look for other than temp. That and the fact that it's working, as it is in your case. But like Sarge said... blood work tells all.

Okay, I sweat a lot more than I ever did before using t3 so that's a pretty good sign too I'd say

Another reason I personally can't take it. Serious. I think I sweat more than I ever have in my life. Im wondering if lack of salt in my diet or something. Since never adding salt to any food I seem to sweat more n more. Pfft. I can't even have the missus near me in bed now its warming up. Bloody terrible

Yeah same thing with me, even if I'm at. Friends hanging out on the couch I start to sweat a lot. But I don't mind it I know I'll be off it in a little while when I've lost all my fat
