    Water Softener Help

    I was thinking, i live in a house with a water softener (which uses salt) now drinking out of the faucet will that have the same effects as sodium excessive water retention??

    I would think you need to take into consideration the amount of sodium that's in the water you're drinking.
    I really don't know.... anyway I buy all my water... can't stand the water around here.

    It does increase sodium intake, but is it enough to make you retain water? I dunno.
