I would like to see some research on this. Its a very good question. SG is probably right. His theory makes sense. Its just part of aging. hmmm, now i feel old..

bro some people dont finish pueberty till 20 or so....at 20 some people havent even developed facial hair....your test level decline very slowly, it can be impacted by alot of things such as how healthy of a life style you live, if you do to much drugs, if youve suffered a bad injury to your nuts...if you dont give your self enough recovery time after cycles....as you get older they decrease.....Madmax

Puberty is the growing and developing stage of life. Your hormones stay up because they help you maintain what you've grown and developed. When your hgh and testosterone start declining, you began to gain fat, blood pressure can get high, cholesterol becomes a problem and the dreaded one if your testosterone goes to low you have a limp noodle Your metabolism goes then your can get insulin resistant, then you can't lose weight or build muscle and your in a world of hurt.

So if they dropped off after puberty, these could be some or all of the problems you'd have. The only thing that would fix it is some hgh and testosterone well maybe not the only thing, but it'll make thing a lot better

These are probibly not all the reason, but there the ones I know.

It's not that you have high testosterone levels all the time - it is more that they are fluctuating a lot during adolecents. During puberty and while a minor your body is doing a lot of crazy shit to develop itself. Your natural androgen levels don't really normalize until after adolecents.

You actually have your highest daily testosterone levels at 30... then they go down hill.

If anyone has the information on endogenous testosterone levels based on age/sex - that would help. I can't seem to find it....

Your natural test level reaches its high during your late teens and early twenties. After the high levels begin to decrease. This is a gradual process and continues through the rest of your life. Obviously there is a high during your late teens to facilitate growth and maturity. Many studies have been conducted to examine the physiological reasons why test levels drop but the truth is we still don't really know - it's just part of the aging process.

    Hmm bros...

Remember that puberty is not like an "on-off" switch. You didn't go to bed one night as a little boy and woke up the next morning a man.

It's a slow gradual process that can be graphed as a bell-curve. Boys start showing little signs at around 10, and it all finally ends in his early 20's.
