Fake Exp Dates And Lot #'s On Gear???

It's too my understanding that fake expiration dates and lot #'s can be stamped on boxes and bottle of gear. I have read to where as 75 percent of all gear is bogus!
What do you guys look for on bottles and boxes when finding legit gear? For example its too my understanding the hologram cannot be faked!
I would love to hear more on this subject from the experts on determining whether or not gear is legit by the bottle its in.
