Lasix side-effects
I was reading the poll below on what do you think are the most dangerous AAS, hormones, diuretics etc. I have some lasix that I intend to use to speed up the removal of anavar and prop metabolites. (This is because I am subject to IOC drug tests, yes I know lasix is also banned)
What I wondered is if lasix is as dangerous when water intake is kept up as is normal or is it just dangerous when looking to get ripped and dehydrated?
Also, any ideas how long a diuretic is detectable?
Thanks
Mountie

You need to take extra potassium as Lasix depletes it.

It would be more dangerous if trying to get ripped and therefore dehydrated, but as mentioned would still be potassium-depleting. As far as detection times, unless something is very fat-soluble, most of a medicine is eliminated after five half-lives. Since Lasix is typically dosed daily, I would guess that most of it is eliminated in 5 days.

death
drinking water with it, you could die
mineral depletion is the problem, which water will not resupply

What are you saying Billy?
Should I leave out the Lasix altogether?
I only intented using it for a few days
Is it safe to take it for a short period with plenty of water, electrolytes, multi-vitamins, potassium?
Or should I just try a herbal remedy such as boldo or dandelion?
-
I would stay away from it all together.
I don't know what billy means about drinking water while on it cuz I haven't ever really researched it, but from what I've heard from many ppl is that it's really bad news...

I think what BILLY is saying is that since LASIX is a DIURETIC, it will remove water from the system, also it will speed up the removal of all water soluable nutrients. So, if you do do LASIX, I would take your vitamins and keep on any other water soluable minerals because your body will be depleted a lot faster with the diuretic..
Hope this helps??

Alot of people think that you can drink just alot of water and be rehydrated and be fine.
The problem is the mineral depletion.
Is it safe to take it for a short period with plenty of water, electrolytes, multi-vitamins, potassium? theortically yes, but I woudlnt do it without medical monitoring
Or should I just try a herbal remedy such as boldo or dandelion? that would be my vote

From what I udnerstand, Lasix is a last resort, if you are still bloated really close to a comp and want to drop the water quick. Go the herbal route. Don't risk death.
