I did a SubQ injection yesterday evening. I did it in a hurry, So I didnt took the time to heat the oil before drawing.

Still sterilized and pinned as usual.

Not the first time I do that, I expected a bigger lump, more incomfort due to not heating it.
    Not unusual until now.

I noticed that the injection site is now Red, swollen, seem to have a hard lump inside(pretty similar at oil SubQ), also it seems hot a bit. But its hard to say.
    It do NOT hurt.
Its incomfortable but not painful at all.

I will post a pic on my next post.

Does it look like an infection, sterile abcess, just an inflammation...
    Advice would be apreciated thanks.

It looks at first glance like an inflammation. Also in my experience it would hurt a bit if it was infected. Personnally I would take some anti-inflamatory pills ,don´t know what you guys have over there, and if it doesn't get better (cools down) in a day or two i would go check it out.

    Kind regards

I'd just hang tight, and wait to either spike a fever or it goes away. Ice it if it's uncomfortable.

Alright, anyway im not really worried... Even if it were an infection it would be easely treatable.

I tend to believe that subQ infection are less potentially harmfull than IM.
And antibiotic can and will fix it if anything.

Ill qait to see the developement if its getting worse ill see my GP and get it fixed

I thought I would inform you of how it goes.

Redness is gone, swole is gone for the most part.

Hard lump still there, but should dissipate soon enough.

    Thanks for the help everyone.
