    Sus 250 depression/mood shift

    Hello,

I am a 52 yr old male. I see a doctor who prescribes me Sus 250. I have 1/2 ml every second week. I have started it a few times but then it develops a pattern of depression and anxiety and i have to stop. At first its great but after only 4 or 5 weeks I start getting anxious as my work can be quite stressful and full on. I also start getting depressed quite badly. I thought Sustanon was meant to do the opposite..... Of course I like the fact that it helps me gain a bit of size at the gym and also better erections at first, but then this depression and anxiety starts which isn't fun at all. I have shifted to the dose to once a week but it still makes me more anxious and still flattens my mood.

Is it possible for some people to suffer depression from injecting even moderate amounts of testosterone like I am?
I 'd appreciate any help on this. Thanks!

It sounds like your estrogen is raising then causing you to become "emotional". Are you taking any HCG or AI ?

The doctor prescribed me Indole 3 Carbinole which is derived from broccoli. I did try Nolvadex and Tamofixen but they made me feel crap as well.

Im not familiar with indole 3 carbinole. IF....if this is the reason for your symptoms then you are prone to estrogen sensitivity. AR-R sells a mild inhibitor called liqudex, works great. Nolvadex and tamofixen are usually used for pct. and can cause unwanted side effects if used in high doses with respect to your hormone lvs.

By all means continue to bump this thread to get some more opinions. There are more knowledgeable ppl here who I'm sure have gone or are going through exactly how you feel and what your issues are and possibly more and better ways to find some solutions.

OK so if I read this right you are only taking one shot, 1/2 ml of Sus 250 once every 2 weeks so that would be 125 ml.

#1 once every 2 weeks is WAY to infrequent. No wonder you feel like crap. You are on a roller coaster ride.

If it was me I would start out by trying .75 ml 1x a week to help keep your hormone levels more steady.

Using an AI and HCG is a good idea also.

Ask your doctor for an E2 Sensitive test for your estrogen. If he won't do it then get it done yourself at one of the online testing labs. Do you know why he prescribed Sust rather than the typical test e or c? It really doesn't sound like you're taking all that much. Get that bw done and best of luck.

as lovbyts noted 1/2ml every two weeks of sust250 is only 125mg. most guys start trt with 100mg per week. most likely you are not taking enough testosterone to get any benefit. you need to have blood work done to see where you levels are. my guess is you testosterone is still very low.

Thanks. I think you could be right. I'll get bloods done and see if my level has lifted. I think lovbyts is prob right. Feels like a bit of a roller coaster.

I'm wondering if anyone knows anything about indole 3 carbinole. Its an natural oestrogen blocker found in broccoli. The dr prescribed me some which I had to get from a compounding pharmacist where its specially made up. Because its a natural product Im wondering if its effective enough as an AI.

First time I heard of it was yesterday in another post or maybe it was this one? Honestly I would go with something I know works like Adex sold by the sponsor unless you can get it via RX. There are places you can find it cheaper but by doing a little searching you will also see there are a lot of places who sell weak or fake estrogen blockers. Most of the over the counter stuff turns out to be fake or very weak at best. If you do try it make sure to get blood test done and keep us informed.

It's not uncommon for doctors to prescribe test 1 shoot every 2 weeks. It's VERY old school thinking and shows he really does not understand HRT so it would be best to find a specialist such as an Endocrinologist, although there are a lot of them that also done have a clue, a fertility doctor or a hrt specialist like LowTestosterone .com
