pretty much all of the progress I have made was within the last 2-3 years.

A lot of sauce, a lot of hours in the gym & a lot of work designing my own proper diet

I too think its around 18-20. Getting to 5% is an extreme goal and one that would probably leave you disappointed. !0 is where most start to look good and a goal you should shoot for which is more realistic. Even 10 is pretty difficult for most and one that will never happen if you diet is not in check.
Im sitting at 9.5% right now and am thinking about throwing in the towel and starting a lean bulk diet instead. I find that im dragging myself through the gym at times. Ehhh maybe ill start my clean bulk once i hit 8%. Two more weeks i guess.

When i cut and do everything right i find the most i can loose while keeping my strength going is 1 % a week.

    Good luck dude.

Well electronic bf scale reads between 14.4-16.4% and I can see veins on my forearms and pelvis, either way have lots of work to do.

My goal is 10%. Not 5% bf. I have no desire for anything under 10%. Especially if I'm 15% right now. I already look great.

It's not just about visible abs though. Muscle density and separation goes into bf.

Op not saying anything about you.

Good point, especially since everyone loses fat from different areas first. I just use it as a generalised guide.

I imagine I'm 16%. Lots of work to do. Would it be worthwhile to take clenbuterol ? Just a couple wks at a time, maybe once a month.

Clen should only be used in my honest opinion for those in the 10% and under body fat who have plateued HARD in their weight loss. By plateauing hard I mean they've cut cals by 500 and cut carbs to near non existant and are still not losing weight.

Look at austinite's weight loss protocol, it's safer, can be managed longer and cheaper and of course will not make you feel like a ticking timebomb. Can be found here : http://forums.steroid.com/supplement...-products.html

Okay. I don't think I'd ever want to cut carbs. I would be weak as shit. I'm already weak as shit eating only 1800-2200 cal/day.

What is an achievable body fat % without becoming weak and carb deficient? 12%?

Because it seems to me a waste of time to cut to 10% if I am just going to go back to 12%+ once I start to lean bulk. If 10% BF is not maintainable while eating at TDEE and eating the right macros to gain muscle, then I really see no point in it.

The idea was to cut down to 10%, then start to lean bulk (eating at TDEE - proper foods) while I gain some strength, then hop on a cycle when I'm strong enough to lift heavier. I don't ever want to be eating much more than TDEE. I've gained lean mass from around 3000 calories/day before, I don't see why I wouldn't gain even more lean mass while on a cycle eating at TDEE, since it says high levels of testosterone in the body helps utilize nutrients more efficiently.

Just cut until you're comfortable with your bodyfat, then start to lean bulk again. That's what I'm currently doing. You could try albuterol>clen , the side effects are said to be much less pronounced and there's not as many health risks.

Do you have any good resources (links) you could give me on the doseage and forms albuterol comes in? I'm not finding any legit information for the application of bodybuilding/fat cutting

I'm guessing the only way I'm going to look like I'm flexing when I'm at rest is by losing more BF% and continuing to develop muscle density by training them with intensity?

My question is why are you cutting? You should be building muscle not losing it.

I'm going to do that once I'm down to an acceptable and manageable body fat.

I'd like to get to about 12% before I start making dem gainz. I think 10% would be too low to manage while eating at TDEE. If I'm currently 15%, 12% will be more than enough.

I lose and gain fat quickly. I invented this thing that many people probably do - micro bulking/cutting. Eat closer to TDEE gradually over a 5-6 day period, lift heavier, do a bit less cardio, then gradually reduce calories again to cut the fat and keep most of the muscle. Key is to not drastically change calories, maybe 100 calories a day increase/decrease. Seems like a cool idea for someone like me who gets fat/lean quickly, depending on diet and exercise level.
