Crippling Muscle Cramps

I'm on the 10th week of my 10 wk cycle of test and eq. So far everything has gone o.k., only real sides were mild acne on back and chest. Two days ago I woke up and was broke out bad on my face and was cramped up so bad I could barely get out of bed. The acne I can deal with, my question is what to do about the cramps??? I'm major sore everywhere: arms, legs, calves, back and neck are crippled. Thing is, I'm no bitch, I can take some pain but this is some F'ed up stuff. I can't workout and I'm walkin' around like an 80 year-old woman. What's up?!?!?!? Anybody got any suggestions? It's obviously juice related (which I ended the cycle of course). I know banannas might help but I'll turn into a chimp trying to eat enough to help this crap!!! H-E-L-P!!!!!!!

It could be you are deficient in potassium. I've been having some problems and a few people suggested I supplement with extra. I'm picking it up tonight.

like markas said, up ur potassium intake! i had the same problem (not nearly as painful) and the potassium has helped alot!

Do you get potassium normally in your diet? How much milk and dairy products do you normally take? How much OJ? Have you been eating bananas regularly all along?

Just wondering if you're low on it to begin with or if you need extra, since I'm on EQ and have been getting them occasionally. You can get potassium supps which I assume would get more of it into your system faster than stuff like bananas.

I may be off but I think it might help if you up your sodium a bit when you up potassium since they're synergistic.

Potassium is good advice...but a sure sighn of not getting enough fluid intake is muscle cramping!!! I dont know your body weight, but I shoot for 2gal or so a day of water!!!

You need to get some sort of electrolyte replacement drink because you need magnesium in addition to the potassium, and I believe one other vitamin.

Potasium supplementation alone rarely helps. Like sigrabit says you need an electrolyte replacment drink.

An electrolyte imbalance and/or dehydration (which usually results in the electrolyte imbalance) will cause your cramping. If you don't restore the balance your cramps will stay. Sodium is also very important. Potasium helps hold water inside the muscle cells and sodium helps hold it outside the muscle cells. You need both.

EQ and Test done the very same thing too me. I had trouble taking a shower one day and was wondering what the heck was going on?
My next cycle of test-deca produced no cramping whatsoever. I think it was the eq.Also I sweat alot on my first cycle. The dehydration could have also played a factoe for my cramps. Its a strange feeling for sure!

I agree that sodium is also a necessary mineral but I would be careful of supplementing it. Food today is loaded with sodium. A little extra salt on your food might help. But, you have to be careful because some people will become hypertensive with too much sodium. Potassium is harder to come by. What you could do is have some bloodwork done to check your levels. Get a BMP, Basic Metabolic Profile. Then there will be no question as to what your body is low of.
