This is the statistic for people who have a job. It is hardly possible to live of 120 000 kroner a year in Norway, so you are obviously wrong. 41 000 kroner per month is about $ 7100 so about $ 85 000 a year then. I was not that far off (the conversation rates changes it is about $ 1 = 6 NOK now, and it used to be $1 = about 5 NOK not so far ago).

This is not about USA = nr. 1 or anything like that.
And by the way, Norway does have the highest standard of living in the world, and our economy is a lot stronger than the US economy (we export huge amounts of North Sea oil and therefore have billions of dollars saved up and invested in (among other things) US companies).

Grab your 2000 jars, dig a hole in the back yard, and bury them there if you have no control over the girls you date and are scared they will rat on you. Let me guess, in Norway things are different and they dont use backyards???

What surprises me is how you guys seem to take it as an insult when I point out that things are different here, in the sense that in such a small country the post offices don't offer huge boxes for storing different stuff.

In fact they are closing down most post offices, and have made deals with grocery stores that receive packages. So in a grocery store, you have a small area where packages are being stored, and you can pick it up there. Mail is being handled by the post office and delivered to your door, of course. It sounds stupid, but it is actually very practical....unless you need a big post box.

A safe could work, but I believe that finding one that is big enough will cost me around $2000. Remember that things are a lot more expensive here. For example cars cost around....twice as much here, I will assume. Because of all the import fees and taxes you have to pay to import one. So getting a decent size safe for $400 is highly unrealistic here. That is not meant as an insult to the idea - if I was an American this would be a good one - but I am not.

All I really wanted to know is if my juice will take any permanent damage from being stored outdoors in the winter. It might not be practical to re-heat it after it crashes, but as long as it remain its potency it is really not that big a deal. Is that the only consequence I will get from storing it underneath a building (outdoors)?

Thanks. It has gotten a bit too cold to dig right now, as there is already night frost here, though.
I would assume that the stash is 99% safe right now. I could put it in one of the summer homes that I have access to, even though it is not heated during the winter. And I will look into the price for safes, just to check.

Nope, but I do have some in the fridge (insulin ), and a smaller stash in my apartment that girls can find if they spend a weekend here, and clean my apartment for example (which they do).

The larger stash I can keep in a storage unit in the basement, but I can not be 100% sure that nobody breaks in there. So this is not optimal. Also I have had one - 1 - girl that has done wild things to take "revenge" for me dating her, but not wanting an exclusive relationship. She agreed that it was OK to meet other people, and met other men herself, but when I found someone younger and more attractive whom I wanted an exclusive relationship with, she lost it.
She could easily fabricate a bogus story about God knows what and go to the police. She has even done this in the past, when sending a hitman after me didn't get any results. Yes, 1 in 100 people are completely insane, and I finally bumped into one. Who's to say I don't bump into another?

If I get busted for having a small-medium stash of steroids in my apartment, it is no big deal, but if - for some odd reason - the police should find my larger stash, I will get a prison sentence, and then I will lose my job. I will not lose my job if I only get a suspended sentence or a fine.

So maybe I'm a bit "paranoid", but since the consequences are so huge if something should happen, I prefer to be 100% safe, rather than sorry.

Dude i think your best bet is renting a storage unit monthly. Im sure they have those in Norway. These are also heated. Pack up boxes with stuff you dont use often in your apartment and in one of those boxes, put your juice.
This will kill two birds with one stone. You will make room in your apartment, and will keep you sleeping good at night knowing your precious juice is warm and safe.

I would not leave all that juice out in a cold winter.

Buy a safe and be done with it. Mail order it. Have it delivered or buy it in another town. Put it in a closet or somewhere it won't be noticed easily.

Thats an idea. Yeah really, if you want to make it complicated on yourself.... Buy a heating pad, hook it up to a battery and wrap it all up like Lovbytes suggested. Come back to secret hiding spot once in a while, with a volt meter and make sure battery still has juice..

Personally I vote for far right, conservative parties because I am against the socialdemocratic system that has run Norway for the last decades (most of the time). These parties are very pro-american in general. As is most of the Norwegians in general (especially the younger generations).
I also wrote how much I loved being in the US on holiday. I also love American sports. In general I view myself as quite pro-American.

When people started bashing me for the price of shit over here, I just stated a fact: things are 2-3 times more expensive here, due to the high income levels. I never said Norway was better; I just gave you the explanation. We are wealthier and have a higher standard of living than the US, but many European countries do. We have an absurd amount of North Sea oil, and only 5 million citizens to share the cake. For me it's no big deal. A rich person in the USA will probably be better off than a rich one in Norway anyway, as people with more than about $ 125 000 in yearly income will be taxed a whopping 50%. So it really depends who you are.

Couldn't have said it better. I feel the exact same way when i go visit family in Argentina. Its rare to see fat people out there and most girls out there are tall and slim, even middle aged. The biggest thing you notice out there vs US girls are the way they gain weight as they age. Seems like in the US, after they hit mid 20's, they start to blow up like bags of potatoes.

I have even seen a few girls that came to live to the US from Argentina. And sure enough, after a few years, they started to put on some weight even though they were lean and skinny when they first got here. Its a real shame because US has so much diversity with people but peoples diets out here is horrible and its only getting worse! Another reason why the US has such, large numbers of diabetics.
