    PIP like a mother!

Had my first injection of test e 250 mg in the right glute and thought all was fine and dandy. No pain during the injection and a bit sore the day after. 2 days after the right buttock has swollen and grown very stiff and tender to the touch. There is discomfort while walking and sitting down requires me to ease into it like no other. The pain is VERY uncomfortable. Whenever I sit down the pain will eventually subside so that I can sit on that butt cheek. The swelling is about the size of a grapefruit. This is day 5 since the injection. What could this be?

If it's warm its infected. Called cellulitis and needs antibiotics time to see the doc.

It's a fairly normal reaction for any new injection site.i I wouldn't worry about infection unless it doesn't start getting better after a week. Unfortunately that's the reality... No pain no gain.

I'm at an urgent care now, hopefully they can tell me what's up with the site of my last "B12 injection". I'll post back with an update.

Doctor says it's an infection and prescribed some medication for pain and a 10 day round of antibiotics. He said that there was no localized pocket of swelling so an abscess forming isn't certain or ruled out yet. Thanks for the suggestions, guys, really helped me this time. Does this mean my first injection was wasted?
