Acceptable level of PIP in shoulder?

Did my first pin ever yesterday in the delt and it went smooth using a 23g needle. Feeling just a bit of discomfort especially when I move my arms as though I'm doing a lateral shoulder raise. Is some pain okay or is this a sign that injection went wrong? At what point is it considered PIP?

You shot a smaller muscle with a larger gauge and got "just a bit of discomfort" when raising arm. Sounds like you're batting 1000. Any inject (exogenous fluid into compact muscle) should cause a some discomfort, it's the rare ones that don't.
