    End of Cycle Advice

    Hi Guys,

Just wanting to get a bit of advice as i am coming to the end of my First cycle (2 weeks left). I have been getting mixed bits of information on how/ when and what to take for my PCT.

All in all i have gained about 20 Lbs so far, had brilliant results and minimal side affects.

My cycle was 12 weeks of Sust at 500mg a week
Had Adex on hand and when my nipples started to get sensitive and slightly itchy i started taking 1mg every 2 days.
I also had HCG on hand but decided not to run it as my balls have stayed nice and full the whole time and there has been no atrophy.

The original plan was to wait 2 weeks till after my last injection and run clomid and nolva for pct, but i'm wondering if i should run some HcG too?

basically i have Nolva, Clomid, and HCG all at the ready.

    Any advice would be great.

    THanks

Should have been running HCG the entire time as well as adex throughout. Read this:

My First Cycle: Planning and Executing a Successful First Cycle

The size of your nuts really has nothing to do with it.

I have read that thread several times, I also read a lot of contradictory advice regarding hcg which is why I chose to leave it out.

I just want to get some advice as to weather to just stick with my pre planned pct or maybe if some people think I hold switch it up a bit.

Well, no offense but you chose wrong, imho. Just go to any legit medical site such as pubmed and you'll find countless articles about it. Not running it is pretty much old school dogma. I'd run some hcg starting immediately up until 3 days prior to your planned pct to give yourself a better chance of a successful recovery.

Ok cheers, I can always look at running it correctly second cycle. As for the end of this cycle I will follow your advice. Is 500ui every 5 days until 3 days before pct sufficient?

    That's some good gains.

I've a question regarding Nolvadex and Clomid though.

    1) Is Nolvadex used mainly as the anti-estrogen to stop you getting gyno and Clomid is mainly used to help your body start producing testosterone again naturally so your test production doesn't shut down?

    2) I know 150mgs of clomid will raise testosterone levels to approximately 150% of baseline value. Do people ever use this on their own instead of steroids as a safe option to help improve results? I know you can get "legal" test-boosters but these are all weak and practically useless (like reversitol or triazole).

All I can tell you is... Im pretty sure Nolvadex raises testosterone too maybe even better than clomid. Some say its better some say its not but Nolvadex and Clomid are pretty much identical as they are both serms. Nolvadex is a more powerful serm though.

The school of thought is that even though clo and nov are considered somewhat identical as they are both seems that they each do a better job and targeting certain things that's why it's believed they work synergistically.

So you can use either then for PCT, but some people use both together?
But they can be used individually.

They have a synergistic effect with each other, and it is ideal to use both during PCT.

They're not "somewhat identical." They work through different methods in the body.

Kel, isn't the halflife of HCG between 2-3 days? After three days, he'd still have half of his last shot of HCG running in him. Wouldn't like stopping like a week or two prior to PCT be the better idea?

Yes you can use either for PCT. You can also use both together if you want.
