Beat shampoo for hair re-growth or permanant thickening

I know theres loads of products out there, but i want to know from your own experience what you think the best product is for hair re-growth or thickening?

Lots of products SAY they do this and that, but i want to know what ones u think are actually proven to work?

.........I don't think anything works well. There could be some regrowth. but I think for many, it slows the loss is a better way to describe

Anyone used Alpecin double effect? Thats cheap, is strengthens thin hair, or i heard Regaine works but is £23 per bottle, only lasts a month but does actually re grow hair because of the ingrediant minixidil.
