    Western Union Vs MoneyGram??

I've been out of the game for a quite some time and due to a back injury laid me up for a while.....am getting ready to get back in. Things have changed and I've been reading a TON to catch up and make sure I'm educated on anything that's changed in the past 5 years or so. My question though might be unusual. Would you be concerned if 'someone' wouldn't accept WU and would only accept MoneyGram??? I guess that could be a stupid question but I'm trying to be thorough and it just didn't sound right to me. Thanks for any thoughts.

I do not see any difference, other than your guy might have a money gram place across the street from where he lives. Either way, if he is a scammer there is not much you could do in either case. Therefore I would not assume anything is wrong simply because of the way they request funds to be sent. Good luck!

Well said Oki - my friend prefers something totally different b/c of location I believe! So I wouldn't look much into it either.... Like Oki said if your gonna get scammed it won't matter how you send it....
