I ordered T3 from my guy overseas and he sent me T4 as a substitute (that has been taken care of and he resent the T3 for free, but it won't be here for at least another month). My cycle is winding down and by the time the T3 gets here, I won't be able to use it until the next cycle. I've read a lot about how T4 doesn't work as well and you need 4-4.5x the amount of T3 but can I still use run this for a couple of weeks and get any results or is it not worth my while?

the concensus is that T4 isn't worth it to run because it doesn't affect the thyroid in exactly the same way that T3 does and also needs to be taken in high dosages.
i wouldn't run it just for the sake of running it as you will probably be disappointed anyway.
just save everything for a later date.
In cycleon's thread on T3/T4 he said it would be effective in higher doses (4-4.5x that of T3). And the tabs I have are 200mcg ea x 100 tabs. I don't want to waste the stuff and if it will do something, I might as well take advantage of it. I know it isn't as effective as T3 but it still is somewhat effective. And I'm not sure what you mean by save it all for another time. Why would I save the T4 instead of using it now? It can't be run simutaneously with T3 anyway.
i meant save it for another cycle. i never said to run it in conjunction with T3.
by all means, try it if you want to, but i really don't think you will get the results you want. document the way you plan to run it and then post your diet/training split so we can see how effective it really is.
personally i would like to know more about it.
hafta disagree - many docs are now using a t3/t4 combo for thyroid patients - you can use it with good results - it wasnt that long ago that t4 was all that was syntetically available - ratio of use is around 4:1 or 4.5:1 - 500mcg of t4 should be around max dose - cycle it as I have laid out in the education forum - take plenty of trace minerals to ensure you are getting iodine - thats what is needed to ensure complete t4/t3 conversion

One more question Cycleon or anyone else, Can I run clen for 2 weeks with T4 or does the clen decrease the conversion of T4 to T3? I read that it does on Elite but I have never heard this before. Anyone????

Personally I would hold off on the Clen. Not saying it will not work but do you really need it??
I would hit the T4 now and the T3 when it comes in. If that does not get you what you want then next time you can try upping the dosage.

start higher and taper - no need to pyramid so much - clen should have no effect on t3/t4 as long as you are getting sufficient minerals (iodine)
I'm on my 7th day and I just got my T3 in the mail. Would it be OK to discontinue the T4 and start the T3?
yes but you might want to fade in t3 and fade out t4 on equiv doses to ramp up the amount for full t3 use - depends on how long you are running itQuote:
