Is there a good reason why not to run hcg with pct?

Im sure you guys know bodybuilder Rich Piana. He's a lil bit old school with his methods but he's huge and it seems like he cares about his health.

I watched one of his videos about hcg and he's taking about how he takes 5000 ius a week, after his cycle and never loses a pound of muscle.

I don't want to take that much ius but why not include hcg into pct? At least until testosterone levels get back to normal.

Basically I dont want to lose any muscle between cycles.

Your question is asked often. Hcg mimics LH and is therefore repressive to natural LH production. The only time hcg should be a part of PCT is when implementing Michael Scally's Power PCT.

Video Regarding HCG Usage Rich Piana+Ric Draisin

Edit: The above link isn't the actual video. It's a previous forum thread on the same topic.

I saw that video some time ago and hos logic surprised me. Well, logic may be a strong word.
Oh, and it's doubtful he's ever really off long enough to lose a pound of muscle.....

Ya he is totally old school. I also think that he speaks as if he is only talking to experienced user's which is big mistake. You got a bunch of young kids listening to all this crap on youtube and think they are to follow those footsteps. NOT GOOD!!

He says he takes all the the steps he needs to have good health because he wants to keep doing steroids in his 60s and 70s

I'm sure he does. I doubt he will even be alive that long let alone using PED's

He's going to have to do AAS in his 60's and 70's if he wants any testosterone at all.

Exactly - and his methods are outdated - and his logic doesn't make much sense(think about it) it's a suppressive - why suppress T levels when trying to recover??? Take on cycle to keep functionality and mimicking LH, aids in a better recovery...

Unless one is in need of a power pct - not you...

Rich is a liar just like Lee Priest who says he still has average to average-high testosterone levels when he's off and says he's been off since the universe when in reality they're never off Lee Priest at 200 lbs 5'4" under 13-14% bf which is equivalent to 5'9" 235 under 13-14% bf...They're entertaining but just about all bodybuilders are liars which is why even if i like the way one of them presents themselves i never trust them with my money or their methods..What best works for me will always be 1st priority
