High bp
U last cycle I had to stop cuz it felt like my blood pressure was through the roof. Anyone else experience this? If so is there anyway to control it while on cycle?

Not usually. It was at my last physical but I had just got done at the gym. I never actually got it checked while on cycle but I could hear/ feel my heart beat all the time. I was gonna do 12 weeks but that started about week 7 so I started tapering off now I'm fine. I've read it's pretty common but it seemed pretty intense

Palpitations have nothing to do with high blood pressure. High blood pressure is ussually silent.
Palpitations are ussually due to anxiety, drug use, etc
Real high blood pressure can be controlled by stress reduction and diet but not for blood pressure due to steroids , if you have high blood pressure due to steroids you need BP meds to control it. Then again you need to actually measure it...

I agree with the fellas, and with Mr. BB's statement that

i'd start measuring your BP, keeping track of it over time, and base your options from there

My BP was through the roof coming off cycle, could not get it to come down AT ALL. Doc was about to put me on meds. I simply change my diet to extremely low carbs (all fibrous) approx. 100g/day, thus high good fats, and high protein. Honestly dropped drastically to normal range within a week.
I now concentrate on my heart being my most important muscle and takes priority over anything else. Quite a scary moment/wake up call in my life.
Additional Info: I am supplementing with Garlic and CoQ10, potentially assisting with the change as well???Last edited by TrevHoff; 07-02-2015 at 11:48 PM. Reason: Additional Info
