Continue to cut up until cycle?

I have been cutting since March of this year... Realized my body fat was getting a little out of control. I have since lost a solid 13lbs and my body does look leaner. I would say Im happy with where my body fat % is right now and I plan to start a bulking cycle in September. My plan was to make a hard push to drop a little more weight and keep my calories and carbs down up until the cycle... sort of like doing a prime, and then letting loose when I start my cycle (when I say let loose I just mean eating as much clean food as possible) . Or should I slowly start adding in more calories leading up to the cycle so Im not going from eating under TDEE to eating way over it?

that's what I did I did a cut until I was happy and when I started pinning I went into bulk mode and bumped my cals to 3k didn't gain that much fat back either because I was lifting harder and longer

I would prime, then ramp calories through the cycle.

Thanks guys that was the plan... I just want to make sure I get the most out of this cycle... Shutting yourself down is a big risk and I just want to make sure I have everything in line to maximize my results.
