Very bad first experience with a source

Sorry for the confusion.

Most people do Western Union, but my i figured PayPal would be easier and so far it's worked great. What I meant is that I gave paypal my credit card number because it's a trusted site people used to buy everything online so they don't have to give their credit card number to the actual websites they're purchasing from like eBay, amazon, nike etc.

I meant to say submit your credit card details to paypal because it's a site everyone uses to buy online so they don't have to give their credit card details to the actual websites they're purchasing from that may be fraudulent.

In another post we've already discussed the rules regarding source talk. You've even stated that you've read the rules in one of Daddison's post regarding sources.
Stop asking for sources, we are not a source board. Anyone that PMs you with a source will most likely be a scam.

An update for everyone:

I was able to get a hold of him and he claimed that I was ripped off by someone pretending to be him. Money lost.

I was hoping he'd do me the courtesy of offering a nicely discounted order since I did lose $280 trying to order from him and provided the proof of this. He didn't seem to care.

I do think, however, due to my limited and negative experience with him, I will still another source I've heard of as they seem to be well respected on the forums and legit.

It would be hopeful that he would discount your order but its not really his fault, also if he discounted everyone who got scammed by the fake website. everyone would be wanting discount and then rumours would spread to people who dont even use that source trying to get discount from him and he would be out of pocket.
