Nizoral Shampoo for Acne from Test

I hear a lot of you guys use Nizoral Shampoo while you are on cycle as a body wash to help control acne.

I am very prone to acne, even with my TRT dose of test.

My question is do you guys use the over the counter Nizoral Shampoo? Or do I need to get the Nizoral 2% Shampoo prescribed from a Doctor to actually make a difference?

Also do you all use it any special way like leaving it on overnight? Or just use it as soap basically in the shower?

    Thanks

Really?!?!? I will take your word for it, but mann I swear I have seen/heard people using it and it helped them with it.

Any suggestions on what works? I got some prescription cream crap from my Doctor months ago (rip off for $48) and Benzodyl Peroxide over the counter works wayy better. But after about 2 weeks of using it everyday my skin turns into rubber and gets a red/purple color. I'm trying to find a better solution that is somewhat easy to get and use.

Nizoral works great! I can now cycle when showering with nizoral I am acne free. Without nizoral I had the worst cystic acne. Accutane did not work.

USE it as a soap in the shower. And trust me you do not need much. I have a separate bottle where I add nizoral and dilute it with water. It is extremely effective and lasts longer too.

Nizoral is an antifungal shampoo. It does not work on acne ...
It may only improve acne condition because it dries ur skin.
Steroids /Test cause over secretion of oil from ur glands; Benzoyl peroxide 5% or Tretinoin cream 0.5% is the way to go.

    It is also an anti-androgen.

Well taking an ai and using nizoral made a huge diffrence in my hormonal acne. I love my skin now. Tanning also really helps burn off unwanted pimples.

Nothing like washing your hair for a couple of weeks then you wake up with gyno and impotence. Maybe in extreme oral dosages this can happen? I have my doubts the over the counter shampoo will cause androgen def. Sure glad I havent tried it yet tho lol

Oh? Why would it have systemic effects and not topical effects?

Hell, it was capable of displacing methytrienolone (the most potent androgen of all) in human skin tissue in that same study I posted.

I'm not claiming that it will affect systemic hormones (because that would suck), but that it can block some DHT and combat androgenic effects in the skin when used topically.
