Proviron (or other steroid) for libido increase

Hey everyone,

I'm considering proviron to increase libido/sex drive and I'm looking for any details of experience or advice.

About me:
30 y/o M, good shape. Never have used steroids before.
I've had extremely low libido/sex drive for years. Seen doctors, had bloodwork done. Nothing comes up in tests, testosterone is in normal range - 600. ED medication doesn't really help at all.
I've been reading about proviron being a great addition to a cycle, but have also read that it can have libido enhancing properties for some as a standalone, with little to no side effects if used correctly.

Has anyone tried this as a standalone, or anything else in order to boost libido? If so, please share your story. I want to try it but obviously would like to research as much as I can first.

To anyone that will tell me not to try steroids just for libido - I have exhausted all options and have tried for years talking with doctors, having bloodwork done, etc. With test in the normal range I've never been offered any solution.

Have you ever checked for SHBG? What is your free testosterone ? What medication(s) are you on? Any history of antidepressant use?

My last test does not state my free testosterone , only total. I was quoted over the phone a free testosterone of 13, but I think it was an estimate of 2% of my total testosterone.

I'm not on any medications and have never used any antidepressants.

Try pullling SHBG next time.

Are you taking any supplement? Vitamin D3 and Zinc can help with libido sometimes. Also try Boron if you can get hold of it.

I'll give the lab a call to see if they have SHBG on file from test.

Currently no supplements. I will check out those recommendations - thanks.

Proviron will only help if your DHT is low.

You need to check through blood work.
