Syringe brand and sharpness
Just curious if anybody has a preference on brand of syringes. I've been using Nipro and they don't seem as sharp as the ones I got from my bud. Well, I'm just comparing to initial injection "prick". These were the cheapest so I wouldn't be surprised if others were better. 25g for injection on both brands. Don't remember the other brand as that was awhile ago.

This is kind of like asking who makes the sharpest razor blades.
For the most part all syringes undergo the same manufacturing process.
The only real difference between syringes are needle barrel coatings.
Skin elasticity, thickness and sensitivity varies even few mm. Unless you pin the same exact spot, with different needles, a comparison doesn't hold much weight.
For what it's worth I use Nipro 25g to pin.

I can notice a difference between different brands. Turemo is the sharpest I have used, and I have had quite a few people tell me they prefer turemo. I was even reading something on basskillers site, and he claims turemo are the sharpest needles he has used.
I prefer turemo, and B-D. Nipro is OK, but I dont purchase them unless thats all thats available. I notice the biggest difference when going through scar tissue.

I just stick to name brand syringes. They're pretty cheap so saving another few pennies isn't worth taking a chance with low quality syringes. I've been using B-D for years without any issues.

B-D has my vote as well

I prefer BD, over Terumo, as the finger tabs are a bit bigger. The only 2 brands that I've used...
Recently switched from 25g, to 22g. So much smoother to inject. No difference in the "pain"...
