Share you're 1st cycle.....
I am about to start my 1st cycle in a couple weeks. I'm curious to hear about some of your 1st cycles and what exactly you took, and how you felt and what, if any side effects you had, as well as gains. I have read the forum: Planning and executing a successful 1st cycle.
I am pretty much following it to a T, but I was considering taking 300mg of Test E twice a week, and Dbol the 1st 4 weeks to kick the Test in. Thoughts? I am 42, in decent shape, about 14% body fat, would like that to be way lower, eventually.....

Run the 500mg not 600..., the dbol is fine first cycle, alot do it. I ran test e 500mg a week for 12 weeks my first cycle loved it! Never felt better, the strength, endurance, stamina, focus, gains...etc... best feelings ever!

I'm looking at tossing in the Dbol too, 10mg x3 daily. Spoken to a few bros who ran the Test E cycle for 15 weeks and ended up bumping their dose to 750mg when gains plateaued.
I'd stick to the 500mg for the simple fact that it's a dose a lot are familiar with around here, it's a good benchmark for if anything goes wrong and you need advice.

The reason we say test only is beacuse you want to see how your body reacts to test and if you have a bad reaction and are running more than one compound which caused it.PLUS on your 1st cycle you are going to grow like a weed so there is no reason to add anything else.And Evanesent if that is a pic of you then you need too hit the diet section too learn how to eat.You need to build a base and I am not poking at you don't rely on aas to do wat food does.

Your body is super smart and will adapt very quickly to the compounds you take. The more compounds you take, over time, more compounds you need to get good results. Stick with Test only cycles for as long as you can. Why add more stress to the body if you can still get good results with Test only? Dbol will hold a lot of water and you will plump right up. I used to run Dbol as a kicker but I don't anymore. I just run Test only cycles with a little Mast if I want to lean out a bit.

I recommend you hit a good 5x5 powerlifting routine, 5/3/1 would be rough on the joints at 42. I'm assumin your joints are holding up well at 42 for the 5x5. Really thicken up and strengthen your connective tissue before trying a cycle. I'd supplement with some Creatine Mono or HCL to add strength and size.

Ive been trying to lean down the last year, I have lost 46lbs. I was out of shape and chubby so thickening up scares me a bit cause I'm afraid it will go to my mid section and thats what I'm trying to change the most. I use creatine now, ccl I haven't used. I really am excited about a Test E cycle, but will listen to veteran feedback for sure What do you predict will happen if I do a cycle now with how I look and my age?

Joe, you're lean already. Ditch the HIIT and switch to strength training based on progressive overload and get used to eating like a rabid horse.

If you are scared of thickening up, then a test cycle is probably not for you. You've made great strides at losing 46lbs and I give you props for that.
I think the real question is, what do you want? Do you want to be bigger? Do you want to be stronger? Lean and cut? I think those questions determine your workout and your diet, which is separate than the decision to get a cycle.

I'm tryng to losw my little belly fat though and from what I've read, that stubborn body fat only goes away by doing HIIT. Any other suggestions on getting my 6 pack? I train hard on abs, maybe not hard enough but there is fat there!

Its good, thats actually how i lost so much weight in the last year. I do eat on a "cut" diet though, under 1700 calories a day. If i start bulking i wanna do it right, not everything go back to my stomach. Thats my fear.... there is a forum on here for bulking and cutting i saw, but i can always use experienced feedback. My main goal is to get my abs revealed and gain some mass.....not necessarily at the same time if not possible

Unless you're a natural beanpole, you need to increase your overall muscle mass in order to increase your basal metabolic rate to get to a body fat % low enough that will make abs visible and actually be sustainable. Ab visibility is also highly dependent on genetics and where you naturally store fat, whether you've been overweight in the past also affects this.
You should probably not fixate on one body part, that's textbook Body Dysmorphic Disorder (AKA what this forum, and the entire steroid market is basically fueled by)
Take a longer look at the pic you posted. You have visible and well defined pecs, and a V-line/Adonis belt coming in at your waist. Slim upper arm and thighs.
Body fat is not your enemy, unless you wish to look like Mister Burns or a recently liberated Auschwitz inmate...

Oh, sorry, see I derailed a bit.
First cycle?
Test for me.
Began with some sustanon 250amps from Organon,
then continued with Testoviron from Schering.
Back then west European Pharma gear was basically the only test we used.
