Blood work good to go - couple questions

Hey I got my blood work back and everything for the most part looks good. Feel comfortable having my base bloods so i can judge recovery or any problems that may arise.

My question involves cholesterol and the hematocrit/ RBC levels.

(Bit about me: never cycled, 29, 5'11, 203lbs bf: ?? on lower side with abs and visible muscle all over). Lift seriously 5-6 days a week and have competed in strength sports. Would be considered an elite level lifter by numbers.

Naturally my cholesterol is on the high side (although within range) and my hematocrit and red blood cell count has always tested out of range on the high side (even as a teenager). I know that steroids increase both of these.

Should I be monitoring these two factors specifically? It would seem like a good idea to give blood midway through a cycle to keep it under control. Will cholesterol be a cause for concern? What would you guys recommend to stay healthy or is it even necessary?

High RBC most people usually just donate blood every 8 weeks at the soonest, the thing with frequent donations is some people might have iron or ferritn issues after donating a lot.

What is your current RBC levels? Some also say adding in grapefruits can help lower hematocrit/hemoglobin, although adding in grapefruit can actually have adverse effects on meds etc...

I'm not only anything and have been natural my whole life. That's why i'm checking if adding androgens would cause any problems as I know they affect these two issues.

Yes, adding in testosterone will increase RBC production. The key to managing it correctly is usually find a good dose which doesn't spike your levels too much and maybe even start smaller than most. Donating every 2 months is just about the common answer you get when it comes to managing hematocrit/hemoglobin..

You want to keep an eye on this type of stuff with blood work.
I might do blood work too often but getting bloods done every few months is not a bad idea.
