    1st Preparing for 1st Cycle

I am 48 yrs old, 6'4", 215, 14% BF and have been lifting solid for 2 years and eating a high protein diet (40/40/20) for a good portion of that time. I have made some great gains but feel like I am at a plateau and would like to try a cycle of Test C.
I work out 5 days a week for an hour to an hour and a half.
    Current Stats;
I am on HRT at 2ml of 200mg (400mg) EOW keeps my test levels hovering around 7 to 800. (couldn't get Doc to let me self inject every week)

Hematocrit at 48.4 (was 43.9 before starting HRT)
Estradiol at 17.6 (was at 17 before starting HRT)
Test at 698 (was at 342 before starting HRT)
Sex Hormone at 65.5 (was at 63.2 before starting HRT)
Free Test at 9.2 (was at 6.2 before starting HRT)
PSA at .42 (was at .38 before starting HRT)
RBC at 5.57 (was 5.05 before starting HRT)

Since my idiot doctor (looking for another one) is already injecting 400mg Test C EOW, I would like to inject 400mg on the other weeks to make it 400mg per week for my first 8 week cycle. He doesn't test but every 6 months so I would let it clear out before testing with him again. I plan on getting a full bloodwork panel (privately) before starting to check all levels and getting weekly Hematocrit/Testosterone tests done to keep an eye on my hematocrit levels. I have a diet plan that I will stick to (a 40/40/20) and a modified Arnold S workout plan (for a 48 yr old). I am concerned about my hematocrit levels and Gyno. The only issue I have is joint pain lately so I am on Ostio BioFlex 2X daily. Its mostly elbows (too many max weight isolated curls) so I will let them completely heal before starting.

I have the gear (200mg Cyp) and a bottle of Liquidex for E control. First question is, do I take .25 EOD of Liquidex a week into this or are the test levels not enough to worry about it until I feel the signs of gyno?
I want to have something on hand to combat the gyno in case it comes on, what do you guys recommend (letro, nolvadex ) and how much/when?
I am concerned about my hematocrit levels, should I be with the stats above?
Since I am on HRT, what does my PCT need to be? Should I take one of the estrogen controllers for some days or weeks after? I cant find a lot of info on my particular situation.

I will not start until I get feedback from you guys, any advise is appreciated.

Your numbers are great compared to mine. Doc says TRT is not worth the risk.
Anyway, I am not an expert but I am treating myself. While on HRT, you do not accomplish PCT because the exogenous test shuts your natural production down. You do want to use an AI to help control your e2. An AI is prevention, you do not start taking it when you have the signs. Then it is too late

    First, welcome to the forum.

Now, you seriously need to find a competent doctor as yours is clueless. At the top of this forum is the Successful First Cycle sticky thread. Follow it to the letter and you'll be fine. It addresses those on TRT as well.

I read it twice but it doesn't address guys on TRT and I would like to have some opinions about my hematocrit levels. How much will it go up on the plan I laid out with you guys experience.

Also, what do you guys recommend for joint health. I am taking Animal Flex now.

    Thanks for the help...

    Talltx, welcome!

You can't predict hemtocrit. Everyone responds differently. It will certainly thicken. Being on TRT is not relevant to cycling aside from not needing PCT. In other words, that recommended thread applies to you as well. You should have a doctor issue a therapeutic phlebotomy prescription if HCT gets up there.

Look at this thread, maybe it helps...
