Why take a chance like that? I would mail them to myself or not bring them at all. It is not worth the trouble you could get in. JMO

I honestly can't imagine a domestic flight being that big of a deal if you put it in your checked luggage. I would just buy a box of condoms and stuff it in there and glue it shut like it wasn't opened.

Thats true...no x-ray machine could see through that!

Do a search of my previous posts, and find where I wrote what my friend in the TSA told me to do.

Not just x-ray anymore. I know my airport back home (IAH - Houston) and many of the other larger ones have implemted the MRI machine to look for crap now. Basically the thing will trigger off the machine is if it looks like a bomb or an explosive device.

DO NOT bring your gear on the plane! They randomly search checked luggage now. The last time I flew I put my stuff in a sock in one of our checked bags. When we got to TX and picked up our bags one had been opened, completly searched, and closed with a note in it saying it had been searched for prohibited items. luckly it was not the bag with the stuff in it. On the way home they searched the other bag and placed a note in it saying it had been searched. I only took enough down to cover my cycle for the time we were there so there was nothing in it on the way back. I will never fly with gear again. I do not care what these other people say about packing it. Do not take the chance, mail it to where you are going.

Drew brings up a good point. They'll more than likely open up your bag before they check it in. I had that done to me in the Raleigh / Durham airport. You can watch them search. Just be sure to bury it deep inside something if you choose this method.
