Ventro Glute location

Did my first ventro glute shot today, went ok I think, I don't think my muscle is that developed so was very tricky to know if I was doing it in the right spot, I just followed the advice/pictures I found on various sites, would like peoples opinions on what they think.

Yeah it would be quite difficult self injecting glutes, my girlfriend has done all my glute shots, she's getting quite skilled at it actually lol
I used a 25g 1-inch for the ventroglute and I use a 23g 1 1/4 for glutes.

If you are Self Injecting this is the best method and currently best practice in a hospital setting as well (Obviously not the self injecting part of it)

1.)Pinch the side of your Glute then inject (Do not need to swab skin before hand)This will make sure it's going into the Subcutaneous tissue

2.)When the needle is in the tissue inject your 'Medication'

3.)When medication is injected un pinch the skin so the Glute relaxes however dont pull the needle out yet and hold it in for another 5 seconds while the glute is flat and un pinched...This makes sure all the liquid will stay in the tissue...

4.)Pull out needle...If there is any blood or liquid dripping apply pressure to the area until it stops...if not your done

In my nursing experience this would be the best form of a glute injection...if you have any other questions by all means ask

Give it a go, wasn't that scary, only a day of mild pip, beats the quads, the pip from test prop i'm using crippled them for a week.
