    Water retention or fat?

    At the end of week 3 of my first test e cycle up 8lbs allredy but noticed my belly is really soft I can jiggle it and push in about .25 inch feels kinda like a water balloon. Is this likely water?

    fat is fairly firm , water is loose and jiggly. its likely your holding a lot of water

    Dose this seem normal or should I up my ai?

    whats your current dose of AI? adding a little bit of water weight on a 'wet' cycle like Test is part of the game. You'll grow better in the long run holding some water. you can easily shed it later

    .25mg EOD. Dosent bother me just wanted to make sure it's not excessive.

    thats plenty of AI , I would not up the dose at all . if your concerned with the water weight then lower your carb consumption

    Would you say that most of that 8lbs in the first 3 weeks is water retention and my lifts increasing is just a placebo effect?

    water retention is going to make you stronger . sure you get a bit of edema and water under the skin but most of what you get is uptake of more glycogen and water in the muscle cells themselves. most your weight and muscle fullness comes from that and that makes you stronger.

    power lifters before a competition are usually completely water logged on purpose
