    TRT blast

Hi guys. I have been on TRT now for 11 months at 120mg/wk split into 60mg every 3 days. In this time I have had bloodwork pulled 3 times. Each time everything has looked good. E2 is a little high at 40 but doc isn’t concerned and there have been no real sides. My total levels are between 950-1050 which feels good. All the while my HCT has remained the same at 46%. Before I started TRT it was always around 45%. Basically it went up 1% initially and stayed there. Question #1 I guess would be could this change in the future and all of a sudden I have hct issues and need to start donating or does my body just react well to treatment without this one worrisome side effect. Now TRT has definitely changed my life. I went on a 3 month cut down to about 9% bf and look like a different person. Question #2. I have started a 10 week blast of the same Ester test that I take for TRT (cyp). I am obviously not using my prescription as that would raise an eyebrow. I’m pinning 250mg every 3 days. Is there a chance for the need to worry about HCT and a donation within this 10 week cycle? In other words could I reach a hazardous level in this time frame? Thanks in advance guys and I’m sorry for the long post. Just excited about my progress and looking forward to what this blast can do. I am currently eating at 4000 calories daily weighed, tracked and measured. I have posted a couple pics of my current physique.

You are just a few months ahead of me. I’m planning the same blast in the near future. Congrats on your progress.

I think the answer to your question is MAYBE but UNLIKLEY. Are you planning on doing mid cycle bloodwork? I think you should have it done about 6 weeks in.

    1. Odds are when back on just TRT your hct level will return to it's normal level.
    2. It would be prudent to donate once imho about 8 weeks into the cycle as no one knows how you'll react internally to the extra Test.
    3. Blood work at about the 6 week mark would be smart so you learn how this effects you.
    4. Are you running an AI?
    5. Extend cycle to 12 weeks if you can.

Congrats on your efforts. Looking solid!

your HCT is at 46 after 11 months on TRT. thats pretty good. I don't think you have a whole lot to worry about. in fact if you blast your going to get better gains if your levels raise even higher then that , low 50s. raising RBC is one of the performance benefits of steroids , its a positive side effect.
we just don't want it to be out of hand and way too high, like mid to high 50s.
but I would not go losing RBCs by donating blood too early when your still in the mid 40s.

Thanks guys! Unfortunately not sure about bloodwork mid cycle. Definitely don’t want to use my doc. Test levels in the 3-4000 range will instantly cause some trouble. I have checked every online lab and none of them will correspond with people in NYS it seems. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

There are a couple of places you can have it done cheap without going to your doctor.

Keep red blood cell count in line. I donate every 8 weeks. I was about 5 years into a blast and cruise ...yep 5 years...I starting itching for no reason. My feet and my back itched all of the sudden. It would come and go. I thought I was allergic to something. I was eating 60 eggs a week so I cut that out first. didn't stop. I cut out several things and nothing helped. I went to a liver specialist and he said my RBC count was at 19.5. Blood was thick like motor oil. LOL I had headaches and short of breath a lot. So the blood letting as some call it has helped a lot. I used to get on this site a lot many years ago. Read a lot and learned a lot. Never did anyone mention what I just mentioned. Or I overlooked it. Thick blood puts undue stress on your heart and every other organ. That coupled with high blood pressure and high cholesterol are a heart attack time bomb.
