    Just started first cycle -- would love some input!

    Hi Guys –

    I am in the early part of my first cycle. I did a substantial amount of research before I began, but did not post. I am interested in feedback and suggestions, so I can learn and get the most out of the next 9 weeks.

    I am 36, 5’7”, 160 lbs. I have worked out consistently for 8-10 years, but not “body building.” My body fat is 14%. My goal is to gain lean mass, and bring the body fat closer to 10%. I would like to see defined muscles, and cut abs. I also would not mind an increase in libido and (not lose my nuts) and an enhanced sense of general well-being would be nice.

    This is what I have planned – currently beginning week 3.

    1-3 Testoviron Depot 500 (pin 250 2x per week)
    7-12 same, but up to 750, pin 1x 500 and 1x 250.

    1-12 proviron 100 mg ed.

    [10 mg dbol as an occasional pre work out kick.]

    [Anastrozole – on hand, just in case.]

    PCT:

    3 weeks following final pin:
    HCG

    My diet is solid. My work-outs are becoming more fun as I lift more weight than I have in the past.

    Generally, though, not sure if it is just placebo, or if it is working.

    Would love thoughts – open to changing it up.

    IF your not estrogen sensitive or gyno prone and you don't need to run your AI , then at least run it the last couple weeks of the cycle and up until the day you start PCT. the AI will lower Estrogen levels going into PCT. Elevated estrogen levels will keep your HPTA shut down. Not what you want when you start PCT.

    no reason to bump your test dosage up to 750mg on your first cycle. your going to grow and respond very well with only 500mg. by jumping it up to 750mg its like throwing grains of sand onto a beach, not going to see much difference in gains (only possibly more negative sides)

    HCG is best ran at least the second half of the cycle and up until you start PCT , rather then during the PCT itself.

    Make sure you get BW at about week 6 to gauge where you're at internally. It's a real good reference for the future and learning tool.
    I don't see the need for dbol as a pre-workout in a first cycle. We all know it will end up daily, not occasionally.....
    Agree with GH that hcg should be run during cycle, not after as it's suppressive to endogenous LH production. I'd start it now. Really no reason to shut your boys totally down if you don't have to.

    Thank you for the feedback, I really appreciate it! I am really amazed how knowledgable and generous the guys are here.

    Re HCG , I have read much about it -- the info is mixed. I understand that is should be pre PCT, if at all. My question now is, whether it is beneficial to run starting sooner than the second half, second half through start of PCT -- or not at all. I think I may have experienced some minor testicular atrophy already... and this is something I am somewhat self conscious about. I understand that the HCG may help with this.

    Thank you. I think I will get rolling with the HCG asap.

    re blood work, will do. I did it before I started -- I was at 604 "total testosterone ." From what I gather, this is pretty average, but not really the best measurement and I should ask for a test free test.

    Hi Guys --

    If there is any other feedback out there, I would really appreciate it!

    I am now wrapping week three -- feeling stronger, lifts are getting larger, appearance is pretty much the same. I have gained about 3 lbs, not sure what of that is muscle.

    Also -- my interest in sex generally has not changed -- I was really looking forward to getting that fired up!
