    Post Homemade fina

    I made my first batch of fina today I was wonder if I heat the end product will it kill any possible bacteria ?

    i dont believe so check in the lab but i believe you can bake it in the over for 25 minutes of so at 250 to sterilze it again i am not sure check in the lab

    If you bake it, it will kill the bateria. I think it is at 250 degrees but i forget how long. i am sure if you do a search you can find it on here.

    Baking is not neccesary IMO. The BA will kill the bacteria if there is any.

    I've read to 250 for 15 the let it cool then back to 250 for another 15 the your done....the extreme temperature changes is what kill the bacteria........

    If you filtered it with a .45 filter and used BA you're good to go. Baking isn't required.
