OK to switch from Test C to Test Prop?

I can only do an 8 week cycle. I have about 4-5 weeks of Test C left, and plan on doing Test Prop for the last 4 weeks to reduce water retention. Is that okay to make that switch? I will be taking 250mg/week of the Test C, what mg will i end up switching to on the Test Prop?

Water retention is all about E2 management. Did you get a bloodwork done? Of course you can switch to test prop midway but I am not sure that it is needed. Also you don’t need to change your dosage while switching to prop. Only change is that you will be doing much more pins, since prop is a short ester, thus shorter halflife.

And 250 mg a week for 8 weeks is not worth to suppress your HPTA, if I assume youre not on TRT. Why such low dosages? I doubt you will make huge gains on that dosage anyway.

The goal isnt necessarily to pack on a bunch of size. More for a performance setting to get that edge as i am a competitive athlete. Plus, i noticed my last time running test C at a lower dosage, my "crash" was almost nonexistent. In fact, i have more libido now, than i did before i even did the Test last time.

I did not get bloodwork done, but im getting bloodwork done before i actually do start again. I have never been estrogen "sensitive", therefore i never really put too much effort into running an AI. Im curious to know if youve ever heard of DIM? If I can take that while on the Test to help with water retention?

I dont mind pinning more often, but what dosage of Prop would compare to Test C 250mg? I heard that the dosage mg for mg is more effective. I also am not set on switching to Prop if i can control water retention on the Test C.

TGH is right. Water retention is about E2 w test. Doesn't matter the ester.

Never used DIM but I think it is effective at controlling the E2 at 500mg ED dose. Water retention means you have higher E2 than your baselines. If your aim is not to put a lot of muscle mass then you may want to keep your E2 in range.
If you still want to switch to prop, you can either do it 80 mg EOD or 35 mg ED. That will equal to something close to 250 mg a week of cypionate .

Yes, wait until you’re due for your test c injection then start with appropriate test prop injections.

3/8 of a cc every day or 6/8 of a cc every other day should be appropriate.

    This ^
dont worry about the actual total amount per week being lower. Cyp is a heavier ester and there is less actual test in it.
But like you said, if all you care about is water retention, there is no reason to switch (unless you just like sticking yourself with needles)

By the time you really start feeling the test it will be time to stop. Why not wait until you can run it a longer period of time? Or simply run prop the entire time?

Yes you can make that change, should work just fine. You will need to inject the PROP more frequently .

Unless your natural test levels are very low, you are not gonna gain anything from 250 mg a week

Scrap the cycle sounds like you need more education regarding steroid dosing and durations. It’s not worth the shut down to run so little.
