    Question Jet Injectors?

I'm curious if anyone has experience with the jet injectors (needle-less) dosing injectors that use CO2 and a micro-valve for injecting with high air pressure into the body. I have read about these for numerous medical uses, especially for self injecting insulin . This one company Bioject - http://www.bioject.com/biojector2000.html - makes a device that claims to be used for intramuscular and subcutaneous injections up to 1 mL in volume. Does anyone know of another jet injector that would work up to 100mL or 200mL (100mg/200mg)?

    Just curious. Thanks.

interesting topic ! but i would stick with the classic needle becuz it can go deep into the muscle guaranteed, this thing has a limitation of only 1ml as u stated.

get more opinions ! but i dont like the idea !

I think it is for water based products only.

You don't want to be slamming a steroidal compound into your muscle... injecting too quickly is a cause for serious soreness later on.

    Sounds nifty though...

I thought that something like this could create inflamation and soreness, and that it might not work with oil based fluids. The idea sounds novel, but mostly not useful. It's also expensive, about $500 plus special tubes and piercing needles. I also haven't found one that can do more than 2ml in a single injection.

Thanks for all of your feedback.
