What's your best PCT tips in your experience?

In almost 2 weeks into my second PCT experience. Running the same protocol as last time.. tapering 5,000 ius of HCG for about 10 days 3 days after my last test prop shot, followed by 30 days of Nolva. Some questions:

When should I test my total T? I heard hcg and nolva can give inaccurate blood test results. What are the most crucial other blood test markers I should be getting? Granted each blood test costs money so Im trying to see what tests are the most bang for my bucks. Usually I do total/ free test, shbg, and estradiol.

Sex drive seems like its decreasing a bit. Any tips here?

Last time my sex drive didn't suffer too much buy seems a bit different this time around.

My body weight and lifts are slowly decreasing. But this to be expected. Before cycle I was about 163, and now im hovering around 174. I'm 5'6".

Just looking for any anecdotal tips to make PCT go as smoothly as possible

the best tip for a smooth pct is to not pct. just cruise.

That's true, but at the same time, I don't like the idea of guys in their prime having to be on TRT for life.

i started trt in my late 20s, and it wasn't because of steroids . if i could go back i would start earlier. hormonal fluctuations of pct is stupid. if your going to use steroids blast and cruise. if you think you want to run pcts and try to recover stay away from steroids. not many will ever fully recover from a cycle, they just lower their natural levels every cycle.

Agreed. I feel like I wasted so much of my gains coming off and running pct.

Is the traditional 40/20/20/20 nolva and 75/50/50/50 clomid (4 weeks ED mg dose) not a thing anymore?

My best piece of advice is to stay head strong. The on cycle look fading, strength decreasing and overall feeling extra emotional with lack of libido sucks. Don’t let these things destroy you. I know most buddies in the past would let it get the better of them and they’d stop giving it 100%.

This is when you’ve got to give it 110%

I also always ran cialis. Idk if it ever made a difference or not, because I never went without it. But if it did, I would’ve hated to see what that difference was lol

Agree with jstone as usual pct never worked for me I started trt at 30. Should have sooner. As of now I wouldn’t even recommend cycling steroids without preparation for trt in the future.
