Steroids in the Military

Hey yall, i was just wondering if anyone knows for sure whether or not they test for AS while you're in or going into the military. I know they take blood and a pee sample but unsure of what exactly they test for.

Every body that I know who is in the national guard is taking as. I dont know if they are more strick when you are active.

They will not normally test for AS since the test is expensive. In the military code of justice it says that your CO can order that you be tested for AAS but this is not a standard test (probably due to the price).

PS I would think that national guard would be more of a risk since your physical changes would be more pronounced to people in your unit since you only see them one weekend a month. Regular army they would see the changes gradually and it might be less obvious based on suspicion based on growth.

No I did 5 years in the guard and I actually gave drug tests twice. We were checking for THC, cocaine, etc NOT gear. Trust me. The initial bloodwork at MEPS does not test for it either.

Your fine unless your CO suspects use and wants to make a point of testing you..It is not a standardized test in the Armed Forces..However, if they suspect it, then you will be tested and subsequently dealt with just as if you were using Marijuana or Cocaine..If you decide to do it, be very discreet because it could have serious consequnces for you..

NO way bro! If someone gets caught using them, they are OUT! The military has a zero tolerance policy. They don't fuck around if you get caught with any kind of drug.
