    Protein

I'm curious what protein you guys are using? I've been using Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Whey for years now and like it but the price point is ridiculous anymore. Looking for some other options.

    Thanks in advance!

Same. I tried Mercola once, it didn't really bring anything special to the table.

Seems like you can get a better deal in a retail location like Walmart or Costco vs online, though I admit that I'm a bit lazy about shopping so I just get it online.

I like dynamize iso100. But I'm picky and it tastes the best imo.

I like the orange dreamsicle. Lol.

Looks like everything has gone up though. 50 bucks for 24 servings now!

I've been getting mine via Costco Online although I'm not a member so you pay a 5% surcharge. Cost ends up being about $66 for 5.46 lbs / 80 servings. Their delivery is fast.

Myprotein was one of the cheapest out there but even their prices have rocketed!

Been on Optimum Nutrition Hydro Whey for years, love the vanilla, of any protein this is the least sugary tasting I've ever had.

Hosstile ISO Cinnamon Oatmeal Cookie. I also use a casein protein but forget the company.

I also use Dymatize Iso100. I order from Costco and for the 3.3lb/50 servings container it’s about $66.

Hell, I remember back in the day (mid 2000’s) when a 10lb bag of optimum nutrition was only $40. Those were the days

Inflation is definitely effecting whey protein costs. Dramatically. Most is seen through shrinkflation route

So maybe what I'm paying really isn't all that bad! Occasionally they'll have a sale for the same size bag for around 35-40 bucks for members only. A buddy will grab it for me then.

Appreciate the responses. Keep them coming please.

The orgain brand is pretty good too. I actually like the chocolate. Its a plant based protein shake though, but its pretty darn cheap. Amazon has the 2lb for 27 bucks. Costco/walmart carries it as well.

    Thanks in advance!

Big bag of optimum whey at Costco is the best deal I've seen and it's hard to beat their taste, I'm steering away from protein powder now but I think it actually helped a lot taken before bed with peanut butter. Seemed to make me hungrier throughout the day.

I really like the MRE protein. It’s animal based from chicken, beef, etc but also has pea protein and more.

The cheapest I’ve found it is on the Redcon1 website when you sign up for a subscription order monthly.

Flavors are very on point as well.

Max Pro chocolate cake from Max Muscle. It’s expensive but it’s the only one that doesn’t make me shit my brains out so I make up for the cost with less TP and ass wipe. Nothing easy in this game

Does Test C count as protein?
    Jk.
But I use Nows Whey isolate unflavored.
Get a 10 lb bag on amazon for well….lets see as prices are always changing.

I remember just two years ago it was 86 bucks.

It appears I'll be sticking with it. Tastes good by itself but normally post workout I'll blend it with PB and no sugar ice cream Tastes great.
